Why drink 100% juice?
Cranberry juice is too tart for most people to drink without blending in other ingredients. While many other cranberry juices blend cranberry juice with high-fructose corn syrup, Northland maintains the healthy benefits of all juice in its 100% Juice Cranberry Blends. Remember, if you're not getting 100% juice, then you're not getting as many phytonutrients in each glass full. Phytonutrients include compounds like flavonoid, anthocyanins, polyphenol and quercetin, which have been proven to have a positive impact on health. High-fructose corn syrup contains no phytonutrients.
Why are other cranberry drinks less expensive?
Northland brings you a 100% juice product and not a high-fructose corn-syrup-based drink. Many cranberry drinks that are sold today contain only 15%-30% juice, ours contain 100% juice.
Why is sugar listed on the nutritional panel?
All fruit juices contain naturally-occurring sugar or fructose. The sugar in the Northland 100% juice blends is found naturally in pure fruit juice. We never add high-fructose corn syrup or artificial sweeteners.
Why are Northland juices pasteurized?
Northland juices are pasteurized to help eliminate bacteria and preserve the quality of the fruit juice for over nine months. Once the cap is opened and the vacuum seal is broken, the bottle must be stored in a refrigerator. You can keep the juice refrigerated for up to three weeks.
Why can't I find some flavors at my local supermarket?
Although most retailers include Northland 100% Juice Cranberry Blends in their juice aisles, depending on shelf space and regional flavor preferences, your store may not carry every size and flavor. If you cannot find your favorite Northland 100% Juice Blend, please write a letter or send an e-mail to Consumer Relations at the store headquarters. You'd be surprised at how important that can be.
